Organon Lutheries Lab is a series of sessions for sound practitioners or anyone interested in musical instruments. We want to open up a forum where we can discuss, make, and play instruments together. # Organon Lutherie Lab I: Uncharted Territories `2026-09-15 18:00-20:00` **Location: Lilla Salen ([KMH](https://maps.app.goo.gl/UEeNSHsXXMkVh13w8))** What is lutherie to you? In the first session of Organon Lutherie Lab we want to invite you to diagram—to map out the ways you relate to your music making contraptions. We will share our insights into lutherie and diagramming as practices to understand ourselves together with sonic materials. With this activity of drawing out relationships between sonic bodies we want to encourage you to develop an abstract map that can survive change and perspective—a map that is porous, not a literal one-to-one tracing. Together, we want to make a cartography of ways luthiers and musicians perform the relationships they have with instruments. Can diagramming be a catalyst for new ways of thinking about our instruments?  We will provide all materials necessary for the workshop.
